31 The first night aiina's not here. I feel lonely and a little scared of what might happen next. Luckily she's coming back tomorrow, so I can talk to her about the situation. She might still stay depending on how things work out with the other flatmate. Today was the last day of the exhibition and I'm kind of happy about it being over now. I really liked the work but I'll be glad if I don't have to work this much for a while now. It was exhausting and most other things need my attention too, like my studies or my work at the studio (and I still feel a little bad for not having shown up there for weeks). I had a talk about my on-going project today with Nida from Scale (she's curating her own exhibition in Zürich in february with two artists from here) and she asked me how much of your art practice do you want to show in your studio? And I said all of it because I'm trying to set up an infrastructure here which is suited for what I want to do. 2 lot of people around me keep telling me that it's great that I'm doing so many different things, but it also makes it quite difficult to maintain them properly and it's kind of exhausting. But then again it's my practice and worked well so far, so why change anything? And I think I kind of found a good way in setting up my workflow. The team at Maag halle really helped me with many things (like sending out press releases, maintaining the mailing list ...) and so I only have to focus on what can't be outsourced or what |
